Burberry

I have a slight obsession with Burberry. I just love how its so classic and never goes out of style. I have been eyeing this bag for months. I am on vacation right but I decided not to go anywhere so I am thinking about picking up an extra trip during my time off and it would pay for this bag. Then I can finally stop drooling everytime I walk past it at the mall.

New Work Bag

I have been needing a new black purse to take to work since the one that I take now is falling apart. It's a coach bag that I have had for years and it finally bit the dust. Well in the mail last week I recieved a 25% off coupon to Coach and of course I have to go to the store and look. I have been searching for a new bag for awhile and for work I can only have solid black so when I walked into the Coach store they had a solid black bag. Not that I needed to buy a Coach purse for work I did it anyway. At least I had a coupon. That makes it better right? And when I got home and looked in my bag they gave me a free keychain.

136 Derby

I love this time around Louisville. There is so much to do and things going on everywhere but now I am sad its over and already looking forward to next year. Usually I go to the Derby but this year my parents had box seats for the oaks so I went the Oaks instead. It was a beautiful day and perfect for a day at the races. I even won a little bit of money while I was there. Here are a few pictures from Oaks. I ended up making my own hat and I loved the way it turned out.

Roommate-less

Well today my roommate who has lived in my house for a year officially moved out. This is the first night I have had to stay by myself in my house. I contemplated on getting another roommate but I think it's time to be on my own. Well at least I am going to try it for awhile. I'm excited to finally be living on my own but also a little nervous. I have never lived without a roommate. I am excited to have an empty room that I can decorate now. I'll say one thing though I'll definately have my alarm set tonight though.

Spring Cleaning

One of the drawbacks of living in an older house is not having any closet space. I filled the closets in my bedroom and office very quickly so I had to build a makeshift closet in the basement. So today I got tired of trying to shove more stuff in the closet so I decided to do a little spring cleaning. I filled 5 garbage bags full of clothes to take to the consignment store. Anything I hadn't worn in the past year I got rid of. Now I can actually shut the doors on all my closets. The bad thing is now I want to go shopping for new stuff. So I am off to the mall now..

Patio Furniture

I went into Home Depot a couple of weeks ago to get a light fixture and what did I end up finding... Brand new patio furniture. I saw it and I thought it was perfect for my backyard. I am so excited it got delivered today and of course I had to get it out of the box and put it all together today. I felt like a child on Christmas morning. It's funny how you get older things like patio furniture are exciting. This is a picture of the furniture I bought..

So now that I have furniture I have a new project to do this weekend... Build a deck for the furniture.. My parents are coming and we are going to try and knock it out this weekend.. Wish me luck

I could get used to this

Being a flight attendant sometimes you know where you're going and sometimes you don't. I was on call this weekend and I got an awesome trip to sunny Fort Lauderdale. I was so excited because the hotel that we stay at is right on the beach. I got to spend the day laying in the sun and walking on the beach. It was so nice just to have the sun on my face and be in 70 degree weather. Needless to say I don't want to leave and go back to Chicago tonight but I do get to go home tomorrow morning so thats a plus. Here is a picture of where I spent my day. I hope I get a trip like this next week when I go back to work because I could sure get used to this.
