Day 2

Day 2: Picture of the person you have been closest with the longest.

This is Angie. I have been friends with her since I was born. Actually before that even. Our parents were best friends and we lived next door to each other growing up. She is the sister I never had. We have been there for each other for as long as I can remember. We had a little bit of a falling out as most friends do sometimes and we are trying to rebuild a friendship/sisterhood as we speak. She is my best friend and always will be. She is the sister I never had.

Day 1

Day 1: Picture of yourself and 10 Facts

1. I can't go a day without at least one diet coke. McDonalds has the best and it's only a $1

2. I love all dogs. I would have one in a heartbeat if I could. I am just not home enough to care for it.

3. I am a quiet person. My job forces me not to be so I am working on that.

4. I love decorating. I am constantly finding things and rearranging and decorating my house.

5. There is nothing a glass of pinot grigio can't fix.

6. I am so not photogenic at all. I untag myself all the time from photos because I look awful.

7. Favorite color is pink. I buy things just because they are pink and sparkly.

8. The salesgirl at Express knows my name... I might have a little shopping problem

9. I love country music especially Carrie Underwood she's my fav.

10. I am still a hopeless romantic and believe one day it will happen for me.

How to stop the world from spinning

I have been on vacation for two weeks now. I thought it was going to be a great relaxing couple of weeks at home. I had been looking forward to not being on an airplane and being home with the people I love. It's been the total opposite of that. I can not wait until I go back to work on Sunday. I have to get away and for those of you that know me know I hate to be away from home and flying. I just feel like my world is spinning out of control and I don't know how to stop it. It's like one thing after another that keeps happening. I just don't know what to do anymore. Can I please just catch a break?

Burberry

I have a slight obsession with Burberry. I just love how its so classic and never goes out of style. I have been eyeing this bag for months. I am on vacation right but I decided not to go anywhere so I am thinking about picking up an extra trip during my time off and it would pay for this bag. Then I can finally stop drooling everytime I walk past it at the mall.

New Work Bag

I have been needing a new black purse to take to work since the one that I take now is falling apart. It's a coach bag that I have had for years and it finally bit the dust. Well in the mail last week I recieved a 25% off coupon to Coach and of course I have to go to the store and look. I have been searching for a new bag for awhile and for work I can only have solid black so when I walked into the Coach store they had a solid black bag. Not that I needed to buy a Coach purse for work I did it anyway. At least I had a coupon. That makes it better right? And when I got home and looked in my bag they gave me a free keychain.

136 Derby

I love this time around Louisville. There is so much to do and things going on everywhere but now I am sad its over and already looking forward to next year. Usually I go to the Derby but this year my parents had box seats for the oaks so I went the Oaks instead. It was a beautiful day and perfect for a day at the races. I even won a little bit of money while I was there. Here are a few pictures from Oaks. I ended up making my own hat and I loved the way it turned out.
